The course of "Join the Rescue Brigade"
During this amazing activity, we will gather at the reception. From there, we will walk towards the beach of Bloemendaal aan Zee.
Upon arrival, we will receive instructions about the boat and safety rules—so pay close attention! After that, two boats will be ready, with space for five participants each. After some time on the water, we will switch, and the other ten participants will head out to sea.
Afterwards, we will walk back together and return to the campsite. Below are some important details:
Important information:
- In case of severe weather conditions, the activity may be canceled. This is usually communicated in advance but can sometimes be decided at the meeting point.
- The minimum age is 12 years.
- Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (at least 18 years old).
- Proficiency in Dutch is required, or alternatively, a good command of English for safety reasons.
- On-site, a liability waiver form must be signed in either Dutch or English.
Fun facts:
- We donate the registration fee to the rescue brigade!
- The Bloemendaal rescue brigade has existed for over 102 years!
Will you join us on board? If you have any questions, feel free to ask at the reception.
